Day 47 of the Umbrella Revolution/Movement in Hong Kong.
- The police presence has visibly increased in the past few days with police buses and officers carrying flags and video cameras on the streets.
- Lester Shum and the Hong Kong Federation of Students say they are prepared to be arrested and will stay until the end of the protests. Shum also says that no decision has been made whether to go to Beijing or not.
- 2 Occupy Central stewards have been arrested on charges of fighting for restraining 3 people who attacked Jimmy Lai yesterday. Protesters have also rallied calling for their release. Police eventually released the Occupy Central stewards on bail.
- Henry Litton, a high ranking judge in Hong Kong has cast serious doubts about handling of anti-Occupy injunctions. Some legal experts and commentators have described the injunction's wording as 'odd'.
- The High Court has also rejected the protester's appeals regarding the injunction. Bailiffs assisted by police are expected to begin the clearance starting on Friday.
- Police in Mongkok have seized a number of bags reportedly containing rocks from the protest site.
- The pan-democractic camp and democratic parties have called on police chief Andy Tsang to resign.
- Andrew Fung, information coordinator from Leung Chun-ying's office has refuted claims written in an opinion piece in the New York Times by Joshua Wong that the process of the government approving candidates is not equivalent to universal suffrage.
- Joshua Wong claims that the current proposal of giving '1 person, 1 vote' with government approved candidates is not universal suffrage and notes that even though the current protest may not result in victory of the protesters, proper democracy is achievable eventually.

- 列顯倫，高排名法官在香港已經產生了嚴重懷疑處理的反佔領禁令。一些法律專家和評論家所描述的 禁令的 措辭為“奇”。
- 高級法院還拒絕了有關禁令的抗議者的訴求。 法警 被警方協助，預計開始的間隙上週五開始。
- 警方在旺角檢獲一批報稱載有石塊從抗議現場袋。
- 泛民主的陣營，民主兩黨都要求警察局長曾偉雄辭職。
