Day 45 of the Umbrella Revolution/Movement in Hong Kong. (11 November 2014)
- The Federation of Students has written an open letter to National People's Congress (NPC) deputy Rita Fan requesting her assistance in arranging a meeting with Beijing officials. However Priscilla Lau, a Hong Kong delegate to the NPC says that students have no change in getting a meeting and that they should go home now.
- Former chief executive, Tung Chee-hwa, said that Hong Kong would be taking a step backwards if it voted down Beijing's political reform package for the territory. Tung is also the head of a new think tank and committee called "Our Hong Kong Foundation" which is posed to scope for potential candidates for the 2017 Hong Kong elections and to resolve the ongoing Occupy movement.
- The Legislative Council is set to debate a motion on devising a constitution by all people, making new covenant, and realizing genuine "Hong Kong people ruling Hong Kong". This proposed motion is being moved by controversial pro-democracy lawmaker Wong Yuk-Man.
- Carrie Lam has said that currently there is no room for a conversation with the Hong Kong Federation of Students and has repeatedly urged students to leave the protest zones peacefully.
- Chinese president Xi Jinping has appeared to be supportive of Hong Kong chief executive Leung Chun-ying in public dispelling earlier reports of weakened backing from Beijing. Xi also commented about the resilience of the Hong Kong government in light of the ongoing protests.
- Former CPPCC member Lew Mon-hung says that he is aware of Leung Chun-ying's wrongdoings but will not reveal details until the end of a court case next year.
- Reports suggest that nearly 7,000 police officers are being readied to clear the protest potentially after Wednesday's meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Obama.
- The Hight Court of Hong Kong's injunctions can be enforced by police as part of the protest clearance. The Civic Party's Audrey Eu explains that any appeal to the injunction won't delay its enforcement and that only the specified area of occupation within protest zone is subject to the injunction as well as reoccupation of a cleared area is also illegal.

- 學生聯合會寫了一封公開信給全國人大（NPC）副範徐麗泰，要求她協助安排與北京官員會面。然而梁美芬議員，香港代表對人大說，學生在獲得一個會議，他們應該回家了，現在沒有任何變化。

- 中國國家主席習近平先後出現是支持香港特首梁振英在北京靠山削弱公眾消解早先的報告。習近平還評論了香港政府在光線正在進行抗議的應變能力。
- 曾任全國政協委員劉夢雄說，他知道梁振英的惡行，但不會透露細節，直到一宗法庭案件在明年年底。
- 報告顯示，近7000名警務人員正準備週三的會議的中國國家主席習近平與美國總統奧巴馬之間後，清除潛在的抗議。
- 香港的禁制令的海特法院可以通過警察強制執行的抗議間隙的一部分。公民黨的餘若薇解釋說，任何上訴的禁令不會耽誤執法和佔領抗議區域內的唯一指定區域是受清區的禁令以及重新佔領也是非法的。
