- Protesters awake to a calm Sunday morning with little incidents overnight except for the announcement that a student protester has pneumonia.
- Petitions from anti-Occupy groups "Support our Police" and the fake petition to promote Robert Chow as HK ambassador to UK "Support our Ginger" are going strong.
- Hong Kong police have confirmed that 319 Occupy Central protesters have been arrested over the past month.
- Benny Tai, Occupy co-founder says that dissolving the Legislative Council could solve the political impasse if the reform bill is vetoed. This suggestion has been dismissed by Carrie Lam, Chief Secretary of Hong Kong.
- Occupy Central has urged the BBC to retract an incorrect story on BBC Newsnight which has been subject to widespread criticism for its inaccurate portrayal of the Occupy movement.
- High school students have joined in solidarity with the Umbrella Revolution protesters with participants appearing at different places around Hong Kong holding up a yellow umbrella.
- Anti-Occupy protesters at The University of Hong Kong have called for Benny Tai to resign.
- The convenor of the Executive Council, WK Lam, has called for a second round of talks between the government and student leaders to end the political impasse.
- Financial Secretary, John Tsang, says a willingness to bear legal consequences cannot be an excuse for the wilful breaking of the law and defying a court injunction.
- Robert Chow, co-organiser of the "Support our Police" petition denies claims that his petition has been subject to invalid signatures despite the lack of an independent validity or scrutineer.
